Agreement to these Terms
Brooks Invest LLC provides Calcura and Calcura Classroom. These Terms govern use of the service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.
Eligibility
Purchasers and subscribers must be legally able to enter a contract. Students must use the service with any authorization required for their age and circumstances. Under-13 independent enrollment and school-district use require an appropriate additional review process; a teacher creating a class does not itself establish that process.
Accounts
Provide accurate account information and keep account access secure. Do not share one-time sign-in codes or session credentials, impersonate another person, or use an account you are not authorized to access.
Educational use
Calcura supports learning. Its performance metrics are not a guarantee of academic outcomes or an independently verified certification of student work. Educators and institutions must use it consistently with applicable policies and law.
Institutional use may require additional agreements, consent, or privacy review. A teacher’s involvement does not remove Calcura’s own applicable obligations. Under-13 direct onboarding and school-district approval are not established by these Terms.
Subscriptions and billing
Available plans, prices, and billing intervals are shown at purchase. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Authorized workspace owners and administrators can manage billing through the existing billing portal. Contact us through the Calcura contact page for billing assistance.
Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew according to the selected monthly or annual terms unless canceled.
Cancellation
Cancellation scheduled for the period end normally preserves paid access until that period ends. The workspace then falls back to the available Free plan according to trusted billing state. Past-due or canceled subscriptions can affect paid access.
Cancellation is not account deletion and does not by itself erase learning data. Account-deletion requests require billing and shared-data review through support.
Refunds
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where Calcura expressly states otherwise at purchase.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, abuse invitations or authentication, impersonate others, upload unlawful content, or circumvent billing or access controls.
Intellectual property
Brooks Invest LLC and its licensors retain rights in the service. Use does not transfer ownership of Calcura’s software or branding.
User-provided content and data
You retain your rights in information and content you provide and authorize processing needed to provide the service. Do not supply information you are not authorized to use. Personal-information handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Service availability
Availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, and provider failures may interrupt service.
Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for abuse, unlawful use, or other material violations. Account-deletion requests follow the support process and billing or shared-data review. Applicable mandatory consumer rights are not waived.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, suitability for every purpose, or specific learning outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Brooks Invest LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
